Maintenance Lead

Manage, coordinate, and direct operational activities and communication for maintenance engineering department for automotive steel wheel manufacturing, including preventative maintenance, predictive and productive maintenance, dept. budgets, scheduling and planning, and efficient manpower utilization and implementation of effective quality systems. Train and develop human resources, administration of plant policies and procedures, promotion of continual improvement, and all other activities necessary in achieving plant and department goals. Monitor and maintain safety, health and environmental programs.
Requires bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or closely related and two years of experience in manufacturing and maintenance engineering for the automotive industry. Experience must include preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, predictive maintenance analyses, productive maintenance, utilizing NFPA standards, Pareto chart and Failure tree analyses, Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) implementation, and six sigma techniques.
This position requires travel in US/South America approximately 5% of the time.
