HSE Manager

RESPONSIBILTIES

The individual in this position will perform and coordinate the detailed technical safety and environment activities associated with the facility’s daily functions and will develop the skills of the managerial team, enabling them to head the effort in their respective departments. Responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of all plant safety, environmental and security activities to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

1. 1. Support plant safety compliance per regulations
   2. Develop safety programs & oversee implementation
   3. Support plant environmental performance and compliance per regulations
   4. Oversee & support the ISO 14001 and 45001 Environmental Management System
   5. Conduct safety & environmental training/lead & support workshops
   6. Act as the main contact with state/federal agencies including interaction
   7. Develop safety policies/procedures & oversee implementation
   8. Waste Treatment Supervisor
   9. Safety Equipment Administration and Usage Compliance
   10. Loss Control | Risk Management
   11. Strong knowledge of hazardous waste, air permitting, and EPA regulations
   12. Upholds the safety and sustainability culture responsibilities
   13. Utilizes digital support tools (Intelex, EASE, M2S, etc ; )

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education Level:  Bachelors’ degree in related field
• Education Program: Safety Management
• Language Requirements: English

EXPERIENCE:

• Years of Experience
• 4 Years of Experience in safety environment
• Automotive Manufacturing
