For our Product Engineering & Design department in Chakan, Pune India, we are looking for Engineer/Senior Engineer – Product Design
Your future role
Product Design as per various standards
Knowledge of new product design, processes, Machining, Material is required.
New product design as per ETRO/ITTAC& customer specific standards etc.
2D drawing preparation
Design calculation
3D model creation for CAE
Co-ordinate with tooling team for tooling team to track Tooling activities. Proto development & co-ordination with concern departments.
CAE Analysis and improvement feedback to concern.
Leads internal product design and engineering development activities, including design reviews of new programs and engineering changes, plant launch activity, Audit preparations, co-ordinate for testing, Homologation, Co-ordinate with customers , DVP plan and testing etc
Understand customer requirement and provide solution. Co-ordinate for testing activities. Implement same solution in respective document.
Ensure drawings, specifications, cost estimates delivery to concern team on time and to cost/quality standards.
Knowledge of 2D & 3D designing in cad software like Auto Cad/ProE/Catia/Solid work.
(Those with Auto Cad and Catia experience will have added advantage)
Knowledge of 2D Drafting Software’s is Required (Hands on AutoCAD/ Ares Commander is Preferred)
Knowledge of analysis software like Ansys/ Hyper works etc.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems like IATF16949, ISO-14001 & 5S is will be preferable.
Knowledge of PFMEA, PPAP & APQP will be added advantage
Must have excellent Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
Knowledge of MS Office Tools like Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point is required.
Your profile
Bachelor/Masters of Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile/Production)
Minimum 07 to 09 years’ experience in Design and Development. (Added advantage to auto component or OEM).
