Mould Maintenance – Supervisor

Your future role

·Should have hands on experience and well versed in Sand blasting, Dies maintenance, die coating, die polishing, and in operating lathe, milling, drilling, welding Arc and Tig welding. Reading drawings, blue matching, and assembly.

·Ensure the department personnel is always informed and update about rules, regulations and disposition in force and about consequences of their transgression.

·Training to upgrade operators and shift incharge and checking the effectiveness periodically.

·Ensure that team supplies defect free and well-maintained dies to production department.

·Analyze the problems and give permanent ideas(kaizens, poka-yoke) to ensure similar problems are not repeated.

·Organize equipment and personnel, in order to reach production aims established.

·Support New Launches, Trials, process modifications etc in his area.

·Ensure deployment of procedures/systems. Having knowledge and awareness of ISO,TS16949 etc.

·Ensure workstations are always in order according to 5S actions.

·Ensure proper communication within department in all suitable forms. Should be well versed in computer skills. M.S.Office, Auto cad and Unigraphics.

·Provide training and evaluation of personnel according to assigned tasks, promoting a constant growth and improvement.

·Determine training needs according to the skills matrix and requirements, plan and perform regular trainings for operators in order to promote the autonomy and independence.

·Co-ordinate with Tool room team for die corrections and modifications.

·Internal and External Supplier handling.

·Knowledge of Re usage of Old Tool convert into new one.

·Understand Dimensional Tolerances and control Mechanism.

·Ensure the correct application of Quality system instructions in line with ISO-TS 16949 regulation, Customer requirements, ensuring the achievement of defined KPI.

·Ensure the correct application of environmental system ISO 14000 & Customer specific standards.

Your profile

·Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent, experience (min. 8 yrs. Experience)in LPDC

·Strong background in the automotive industry, with knowledge of ISO/TS16949 and IATF standards.

·Develop and execute plans to efficiently manage and control the departmental budget.

·Languages(Hindi, English and speaking Marathi would be an added advantage

·PC Literate

·Exhibit expertise in management and supervisory practices

·Informed and compliant with industrial rules and regulations.
