For our Global IT Department, we are looking for a Global IT Systems Analyst – Workplace & Unified Communications to join our international IT organization and ensure stable, secure, and future-ready workplace and collaboration services across the company.
Global IT Systems Analyst – Workplace & Unified Communications
Your future role:
As Global IT Systems Analyst – Workplace & Unified Communications, you are responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle, operation, and continuous improvement of global workplace and UC services that are mission-critical for daily business operations. You act as a technical expert, service owner, and project contributor in a globally standardized IT environment.
Your key focus areas include (but are not limited to):
- Modern Management (SCCM, Intune and EntraID)
- Software lifecycle management (software packaging, update and decommission)
- Messaging, video conferencing, and voice services (Zoom and Teams)
- Microsoft 365 services and collaboration solutions
- Workplace & Unified Communication platforms
Global Workplace & UC Services
- Operate, monitor, and maintain global Workplace & Unified Communication systems and related infrastructure.
- Ensure system availability, performance, security, and compliance with global IT standards.
- Perform lifecycle management activities including patching, upgrades, and configuration changes.
Service Operations & Support
- Provide L2 support for Workplace & UC related incidents, requests, changes, and problems.
- Work according to ITIL-aligned service management processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Asset Management).
- Coordinate and escalate issues with external vendors and internal global teams.
- Ensure timely resolution of tickets in line with defined OLAs and SLAs.
Documentation, Training & Knowledge Sharing
- Create, maintain, and publish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer to local IT teams and key users.
- Communicate service changes and updates clearly to stakeholders and end users.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in and support global IT projects related to Workplace, Unified Communications, and IT Operations.
- Coordinate technology demands with global IT architects and service owners.
- Contribute to roadmap execution, standardization, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Your profile:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–8 years of experience in a similar role within a global, multi-national IT environment.
- ITIL Foundation certification or comparable service management background.
Technical Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies such as:
- Active Directory, Domain Controllers, SCCM, SCOM
- Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365
- Endpoint, hardware, and workplace software environments
- Experience with chat, voice, and video conferencing solutions (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, VoIP platforms).
- Solid understanding of mobility and UC security solutions (e.g. Intune, ATP, Proofpoint).
Languages
- Fluent English (international working environment)
