For our Finance department in Ostrava, Czech Republic, we are looking for a
Controller (m/f/d)
Your future role:
As a Controller, you will be responsible for monthly closing , monthly forecasting, yearly 5 years budgeting, including financial data analysis. You will calculate and evaluate new product costs and provide reporting on plant cost performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process documentation for monthly closing, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Analyze actual product costs and profitability, including EBITDA
- Prepare financial data and reports for AOP, rolling forecasts, and strategic planning
- Monitor plant cost performance
- Prepare analytical accounts for detailed cost and revenue reporting
- Analyze deviations from plan and propose corrective and cost‑reduction measures
- Support Sales by preparing cost calculations for new business, in coordination with the Plant Manager and Finance Management
- Prepare cost-related documentation for plant and management meetings
- Provide detailed cost analyses to support internal management processes
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Finance Management or senior leadership
Your profile:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment
- University degree in Economics, Finance, or a Technical field
- Advanced Czech language and English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Solid accounting knowledge, including Czech accounting standards and regulations
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, CSR, MSA, VDA 6.3, and ISO 9001 standards
- Working knowledge of taxation, civil law, and commercial law
