Tool Designer & Process Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities at a Glance

  • Design of new tools, fixtures, and aids, as well as modification of existing designs, considering quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Development of forming concepts for new or special requirements
  • Conducting feasibility analyses and designing technical solutions
  • Accompanying and leading trials, prototype production, and process start-ups
  • Analyzing and optimizing existing tools regarding service life, product quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and tool-specific data in systems and databases
  • Assisting in the calculation and cost evaluation of tools
  • Supporting the continuous development of our integrated management system (quality, environment, energy, occupational safety)
  • Close collaboration with production and adjacent departments to ensure efficient processes

 

Your Profile

  • Completed training as a technician, ideally with a focus on tool design or sheet metal forming
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the metalworking industry, preferably in forming technology
  • Proficient in using CAD software (ideally CATIA V5) and MS Office; knowledge of SAP and ARAS is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, and a strong understanding of quality and processes
  • Team player, strong communication skills, and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary manner
