Tool Designer & Process Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities at a Glance

Design of new tools, fixtures, and aids, as well as modification of existing designs, considering quality and cost-effectiveness
Development of forming concepts for new or special requirements
Conducting feasibility analyses and designing technical solutions
Accompanying and leading trials, prototype production, and process start-ups
Analyzing and optimizing existing tools regarding service life, product quality, and cost-effectiveness
Creating and maintaining technical documentation and tool-specific data in systems and databases
Assisting in the calculation and cost evaluation of tools
Supporting the continuous development of our integrated management system (quality, environment, energy, occupational safety)
Close collaboration with production and adjacent departments to ensure efficient processes

Your Profile

Completed training as a technician, ideally with a focus on tool design or sheet metal forming
At least 3 years of professional experience in the metalworking industry, preferably in forming technology
Proficient in using CAD software (ideally CATIA V5) and MS Office; knowledge of SAP and ARAS is an advantage
Good knowledge of English
Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, and a strong understanding of quality and processes
Team player, strong communication skills, and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary manner
