Your Future Role:
- Ensure accurate financial reporting (incl. independent preparation of business plan and budget, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Reports, Forecasts, etc.)
- Provide analysis on plant’s KPIs to Plant Management and suggest strategies to aim efficiency and productivity of the plant
- Ensure the right strategy for product costing / pricing in collaboration with plant manager, Sales and Supply Chain team
- Mainly responsible for the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements according to IFRS and HGB for all companies on site
- Preparation of profitability analyses for the management and the sales department in order to prepare strategic decisions
- Instructing, guiding, supporting, motivating employees in the development process within the company
- Responsibility for the implementation, documentation and control of the internal control system
- Responsible for the correct execution of tax returns in accordance with German and international tax law (with external support)
- Support and supervision of tax audits and other audits by authorities
- Strategic discussion of investment projects in cooperation with the managing director
- Preparing of a profitability analysis of investments
- Budget monitoring of the implemented investments
- Monitoring and approval of depreciation periods
- Responsible for the execution of the asset inventory according to HGB and Maxion Wheels guidelines
- Ensure compliance with law requirements and regulations
Your Profile:
- Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of finance or a comparable course
- At least 10 years of professional financial experience within a manufacturing company
- Very good leadership skills with several years of management experience
- Strong knowledge of local tax law, German GAAP and IFRS
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial systems
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic business environment and with complex financial and operational information
- Well skilled in Excel and SAP and desirable in Hyperion
- Independent, goal-oriented and precise way of working
- Systematic and analytical approach
- Very good written and spoken German and English
