Global Business Analyst (m/f/d)

 For our OPEX & Quality department in Königswinter (Colgone/Bonn/Koblenz area), Germany, we are looking for a

 

Global Business Analyst (m/f/d)

 

Your future role:

In general:

The position is characterized by a high cross-functional scope and a focus on Finance topics.

Its main purpose is to

  • ensure Central Functions and all Plants know and apply the standardized / state of the art tools with the best possible utilization of:
    • Data / information and related tools (Business Intelligence)
    • Involved resources (equipment, people, material)
  • increase and maximize competitiveness, in the 3 main areas:
    • Acquisition of new Businesses
    • Daily running of Operations
    • Relevant changes in Manufacturing Processes

 

Specific:

Prepare and update, based on the data included in the Portal Tableau / internal Business Intelligence (BI) tools and other inputs, periodical Analytics and Statistics to share the Business-relevant information and figures

  • Organize and highlight Internal and External Benchmarking exercises to support evaluation of gaps and priorities
  • Ensure the most updated, standardized, value-related Management Tools and Procedures (BI, Handover, Project Management, Lean Principles, Metrics, etc.) in each relevant Function and in each Plant are properly known, adapted to the specific reality, practiced to suuport the value creation.

 

Through the needed:

    • Periodical presence and assessments on the “field”
    • Education / Training
    • Detection, implementation and deployment of improvements
    • Facilitation for inter-Plants knowledge exchange and Best Practice sharing.

 

 

Your profile:

  • Education: Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Finance
  • Working experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance or Data Analytics
  • Certificates: Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt certificate is a Plus)
  • Languages: English (written and oral)
  • Knowledge in Manufacturing Engineering, Data Management & Reporting, Lean Manufacturing, Big Data Analytics and Project Management
  • Competencies: Ability and willigness to collaborate in remote and cross-functional teams, strong analytical skills, proactivity, focus on details
