FP&A Analyst (m/f/d)

What you move with us:

  • Coordination of global strategic planning, budget, strategic and forecasting planning processes
  • Champion reporting related topics, support and advise function for all Plant Controllers in case of technical or content-related questions related to reporting, upload and analysis
  • Support initiative of implementing a global and standardized Planning Tool (Forecast and Budget) in regards to planning processes, technical background and content and be the expert for technical questions, application standards and own simulation scenarios based on management requests
  • Coach junior members of FP&A team in regards to technical skills and reporting as well as quality of analysis
  • Preparation of financial plans, consolidated planning information and analysis in a timely manner, and monthly reports that summarize the results; analyze and communicate the variance from budget/forecast
  • Automate consolidation and analysis process wherever possible
  • Act as owner of business simulations. Maintain simulation tool for accelerated and high-level Planning and Analysis and prepare data based on Leadership Team requests ahead of data preparation and reporting by Plants/Business Units for high-level global target setting, to support strategic initiatives
  • Assist in preparation of analysis and presentations for Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team meetings and complete ad-hoc financial analysis for CEO, CFO & Senior Leadership Team
  • Summarize, analyze and report profitability and cash flow results by Plant and manage consolidation of results
  • Assist to set-up and maintain monthly reporting (Finance standard in Hyperion, Planning tool, Excel)
  • Project work 

 

 

What you convince with us:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Industrial Engineering and Management 
  • Minimum five years of relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis assignment
  • Prior work experience in the automotive industry is a plus
  • Strong English and German skills (written, verbal and comprehension)
  • Deep technical Finance & Accounting knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Oracle HFM, S/4 HANA and EPM
  • Hyperion and SAP experience are a plus
  • Gathers and analyzes relevant information systematically
  • Understands complex concepts and the relationships between issues or problems
  • Possesses intellectual agility; readily accepts the challenges of unfamiliar tasks
  • Speaks and writes clearly and effectively even when relating complex information Expresses ideas in a concise and organized manner
  • Hands-on and self-starter
