For our Finance department in Königswinter (Colgone/Bonn/Koblenz area), Germany, we are looking for a

 

Accountant (m/w/d)

Your future role:

Invoice Verification:

 

  • Check invoice details for completeness and accuracy in accordance with VAT regulations; return to supplier if incorrect
  • Contact suppliers regarding complaints and reissuance

 

 

Resolving Discrepancies:

 

  • Clarify discrepancies compared to the invoice (with purchasing and relevant department), possibly adjust payment terms
  • Clarify discrepancies in travel expense reports

 

 

Processing Travel Expenses:

 

  • Verify travel expense receipts for accuracy in Concur
  • Review receipts and travel transactions in Egencia
  • Remind colleagues about missing receipts
  • Generate regular reports on overdue travel expenses
  • Post receipts after approval by the responsible supervisor
  • Monitor receipt handover in SAP
  • Process advances and credit card receipts
  • Create travel expense accruals at month-end

 

 

Review and Processing of Pre-recorded Receipts:

 

  • Check externally scanned receipts for correct entry and assist in error checking and correction (e.g., assignment errors, missing items, payees, etc.)

 

Your profile:

  • Education: 3-year commercial apprenticeship (Industrial Clerk or similar)
  • Experience: 1-3 years experience in Accounting
  • Software: Familiar with SAP FI
  • Knowledge: Travel Expenses and Allowances
  • Language: Fluent in English and German language
  • Used to work in a fast-paced, results oriented environment with attention to detail, teamplayer
